This concert was presented at the Parr Hall Warrington on the 8th December 2018. We adopted a less formal seating plan with tables etc.

Hi Dave Ian (who has attended our Christmas Concerts since we started doing them (bar a couple when he worked in China) thought it was the best we have ever done, that the Parr greatly added to the atmosphere. Had text from another friend – The seating arrangement made the evening feel really specially, and the hall looked fabulous - really festive. The concert was fantastic. P xx |

ON December 8 a group of us went to the Parr Hall for this year’s Christmas gala concert which was performed by the Gemini Musical Theatre group alongside the wonderful Manchester Opera Orchestra.
The whole evening was jam packed with fabulous singing in a programme of Christmas favourites old and new, varying from Messiah to the Twelve Days of Christmas with the orchestra also performing Sinfonia Concertante and the crowd pleasing In the Mood.
This was indeed a magnificent evening.
My heartfelt thanks and praise to everyone involved – it has certainly started my Christmas on a high note.
